The English Choral Experience Week at Abbey Dore
23rd – 29th July 2017

Experience
  • An inspirational choral course
  • The included wonderful food and wine
  • An extensive arts exhibition with free tuition
  • The opportunity to join the course Consort
  • Apply now
We gather on the Sunday for a week of singing and socialising together in this unique and satisfying environment.

It is important that anyone making an application to join the course is an experienced singer. Part of the enjoyment of this week will be singing to as high a standard as possible. The application form asks for details of your singing experience. All singers MUST come prepared, having learned the notes as far as possible. Please note that in previous courses there has been considerable frustration caused for those singers who have taken the time and effort to prepare in advance and who wish to enjoy the week to the utmost.

Catering by Mary Powell will provide a delicious three course evening meal each day except Wednesday (half day). Plentiful wine and soft drinks are included in the course fees. Vegetarians and others with special dietary needs MUST advise us on the booking form. Mary Powell will also be providing lunches for those who wish, in Abbey Dore Village Hall, which must also be requested on the booking form at an additional charge of £6.00 per lunch.

Abbey Dore Village Hall will be the ‘common room’ for course members to read papers, have tea/coffee and relax. Ewyas Harold Village Hall (5 minutes away by car) will be the venue for the evening meals.
